Delivery Manager (digital marketing projects)
Your mission
You’ll be a delivery expert, championing the solution and the process; keeping a large, complex digital marketing project within estimates and agreed timelines while cultivating a happy team and elevating our client's experience. Working in a small, dedicated team of CX and data strategists, UX/UI designers and Content Creators, your role will be to project manage a series of workstreams that form part of an innovative, pan-European omnichannel customer engagement programme for a leading pharmaceutical company.

What’s the role about?
Tasks and Responsibilities
Duration: This role will be either a longer-term fixed-term contract or a permanent role. In your application, please specify what type of employment agreement you would prefer.
The project is high profile, with lots of moving parts associated with it. On a day-to-day basis, and with support and oversight from the Head of Delivery (in New Zealand) and the Delivery Lead (in the UK), your role will involve the following:
Preparing and managing detailed project boards and project timelines aligned to each of the project’s workstreams, using Jira and the broader suite of Atlassian apps.
Holding overall accountability for managing project timelines and communicating updates to all internal and client stakeholders.
Based on a 2-weekly sprint cycle and in line with overall project timelines, defining, organising and assigning tasks to the Journey delivery team (Strategy, Design) and external partners (content, IT) using Jira.
As part of the task assignment process, creating detailed User Stories and briefs to ensure clarity around expected deliverables; supporting in the delivery of tasks by co-ordinating/gathering any supporting documentation required by Delivery team members (for example design assets, research and reference documents).
Providing client stakeholders with a broad range of project updates, documentation and reports as and when required.
Liaising with internal and client stakeholders to provide written updates and regular reports outlining progress, risks and budget status.
Organising and running delivery team touch points, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions and retros; Ensuring that all outputs and actions are communicated after each touch point through the appropriate channel and Veeva.
Organising and co-ordinating a broad range of project-related client meetings, from setting and communicating agendas through to associated diary management and delivery team briefings as to what’s needed and expected.
Preparing project financial reports and monitoring billing activity for projects as part of the effort to ensure profitability.
Managing and scheduling project resources in line with the deliverables and timelines.
Quality assurance: Implementing rigorous quality assurance processes to uphold the agency's standards of excellence and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
Managing all delivery-related communications with the client.
Motivating and build an outstanding team culture within the rest of the delivery team.
About you
You’re an excellent communicator, both written and oral. You know how to occasionally deliver bad news but keep stakeholders happy.

You identify scope creep and manage a Backlog of work.
You’re confident in making suggestions and can push back where required.
You are flexible in adapting your approach to different team members, helping to motivate others and inspire a positive attitude.
You excel at managing delivery, with a keen ability to define project objectives including expectations, deadlines and monitoring the progress of your projects against targets.
You maintain your customer focus and take pride in the quality of your output in addition to the completion of the task.
You use your strong oral and written communication skills to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders on your projects.
You are a results-oriented individual, anticipating client needs, spotting opportunities for the business and delivering value to clients.
You can interact with clients at a variety of levels and across functions and manage client expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
Essential skills and experience:
You’ll have 4+ years’ experience working as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or equivalent. Given the nature of the role, ideal experience would be from within a digital agency/digital marketing environment or similar, where you’re used to managing big, complex projects.
You have a strong track record in delivering digital/digital marketing projects. Please do not apply for this role if your project management experience has been from other industries.
You have a working knowledge of core project management metholdologies – and feel confident in both Agile and more traditional forms of project management.
You have experience running delivery team touch-points such as Sprint Planning, Retros and Daily Stand-ups.
You have experience in leading cross-functional teams (including creative and technology), by setting project objectives and managing them.
You are experienced using project management tools, specifically Jira and Confluence
Experience working with Pharmaceutical clients would be a big plus. Exposure in the healthcare / pharma industry is a plus, as is the ability to proof read/QA design assets.
